Understanding Your NCE Score

Your National Counselor Examination(NCE) score is based upon a modified Angoff method. This method relies on "subject matter experts", they evaluate the exam content of each question on the NCE to establish a number of correct responses that demonstrates the required level of proficiency. Each version of the exam is different, in that the number of correct responses needed to obtain a passing score varies for each version of the test. Using your own capabilities will help you to pass or fail the NCE.
